How to Get Relief during the Fall Allergy Season

When the cold season approaches and the temperatures and weather conditions change those annoying allergies that we have every year also appear.

There are ways to combat these symptoms and for this, we don't have to be worried.

For me and I think that it is not always easy for you to realize if the symptoms we have are due to a cold or allergies.

What we have to know is that colds are short-lived, but allergies can last much longer (weeks or even months).

The pollen that is in the air is the most common of all allergies and causes the symptoms to intensify. Allergies occur when the seasons change.

To be sure not to get allergies in this fall season we can do many things. Here you have my most effective prevention tips:

- To avoid breathing the air contaminated with pollen and mold we have to keep all windows closed both at home and in the car and especially at nighttime.

- With the work we have, I don't know if it would be possible to stay at home, of course with the windows closed, which is surely the best way to avoid allergies.

- A great idea is to use a good air conditioner because of these appliances clean, cool and dry the air in our house. Dehumidifiers or filters also help.

- Use air ionizers and HEPA filters because of these products eliminate the particles of the air we breathe.

- When we go outside the house we must protect ourselves using a mask to avoid breathing contaminated air.

- When we return home after work we have to take a shower because in this way we will eliminate part of the pollen that remains in our bodies.

 There are people for whom these tips do not work but don't worry because there are treatments that can help us.

Good relief for these symptoms is antihistamines and of course nasal sprays.

For those who have irritated and wet eyes, we can use drops, such as Visine, which we will find in any pharmacy.

There is also an allergy vaccine that is an excellent way to help with our symptoms.

We have to contact our doctor before using any medication or treatment because some can cause side effects.
